Fawcett, Joseph- 10 Feb 1781, Joseph Fawcett received of Abraham Hite of account of Col Enoch Innis of Hampshire County 120 pounds for riding express from Col Isaac Zane to sd Hite’s with letters & bundles said to contain 25000 pounds directed to the County Lieut of Hampshire (APA 139, folder “1781”).
Ferguson, Samuel– (1) Montgomery County; 1 Sept 1780, Sgt Sutherlin Mayfield received of Samuel Forgason “one dugan” of oats and pasturage for ten horses one night, part of Capt “More” camp. of militia now on duty; (2) 14 May 1782, Sgt Joseph Compton received of Samuel Ferguson 21 days provision for 1 soldier under Lt How officer of the militia in the Lower Battalion, on the frontier guard (APA 238).
Fink, Henry- 5 Nov 1782, Henery Fink received 15/0 of Joseph Nevill for salt for the use of militia from Hampshire County attending the Surveyor running the temporary boundary line [between Virginia and Pennsylvania] (APA 139, folder “1783”).
Finley, James; Frederick County; Winchester, 24 March 1781, James (x) Finley, Andw. (x) Hoyle, [illeg], Henry Anderson and Christ. Aldred acknowledged receipt of 3024 pounds for building ten cabins for the use of the prisoner of war kept at this place (APA 238).
Fitzhugh, George– Prince William County; 6 July 1781, — Connelly [first name illegible] certifies that a number of horses of the PA Line damaged a field & meadow belonging to George Fitzhue. No date, Frans. Whiting viewed the damage done by Gen. Wayne’s troops to the fields, fences & pastures of Geo. Fitzhugh and esimates them to 5 pounds. Allowed by the county court of Fauquier. Ford, Richard- March 1781, account of Richard Ford for 200 pounds, for 5 days service riding express from the Long Island to Goodwood 75 miles. Arthur Campbell certifies that he believes the account to be just (APA 139, folder “1781”).
Frannahan, Mary– Certificate dated 23 June 1781 at Staunton: “By order of the House of Delegates, I certify that Mrs. Mary Frannahan hath taken care of and kept clear the church in the said town in which the House of Delegates sat from the seventh instant to this day,” [signed] John Beckley, “C.h.d.” (APA 139, arranged chronologically).

Freley, Fredrick– Russell County; [affidavit] 16 Sept 1789, Fredrick Freley came before Charles Bickley JP and made oath that he furnish’d beef steers to Capt Montgory’s [Montgomery’s] company in 1778 and that he has lost his certificate, and has never received any pay for them…16 Sept 1789, Fredrick Freley came before Charles Bickley JP and made oath that in 1778 Col Danniel Boon impressed a horse from him for use of troops which he commanded on the western defence and gave him a certificate, which certificate he has lost, and he received neither the horse nor any compensation for him (APA 238).
Fugate, James- 12 Feb 1781, Capt Frederick Edwards certified that James Fugate rode 75 miles express on public business on his orders. William Preston certified that Frederick Edwards was a Captain in Montgomery County militia (APA 139, folder “1781”).
