Lamb, William– Rockingham County; 26 Aug 1789, John Smith came before E. Lax, Timothy– Halifax County; On a list of guns & blankets belonging to sundry persons which was “pressed” for the use of Halifax militia under Capt Powell when they marched with Maj Gen Greene’s Army to Guilford NC, Timothy Lax 1 smooth gun valued at 1.10.0 (APA 238).

Layton, Daniel– Rockingham County; 26 Aug 1789, John Smith came before E.
