Harris’ transcript of the roll at http://revwarapps.org/b81.pdf shows that Wableton, or Waberton, was sized at Chesterfield Courthouse 5 Apr 1781, that he was 28 years old, 5’9″, black hair, black eyes, dark complexion, a Shoemaker residing in Charles City County, born in Charles City County, engaged as a substitute in Charles City County Sept 1780 for the term of 1 year and 6 months.
