Peed, Isaac– Northumberland County; November Court 1780; On information that Isaac Peed […and others] were aiders in a riot in this county who shot upon Thomas Gaskins, Thomas Gaskins Junr. and John Heath Junr. ordered that Sheriff take them into custody as breachers of the peace and that they each give securityof twenty thousand pounds to appear at next court and in meantime be of good order and keep the peace; Feb Court 1781, Isaac Peed brought before court for behaving in a riotous manner against the draught, ordered he post bond for £30000.
